PACKAGED RMB WEEKLY MENUS![]() We have developed examples of weekly menus for cats and for dogs of all sizes to help new members understand the "raw-meaty-bones" diet. For pet owners who have followed veterinary advice and fed one processed food for an animal's whole life, a major shift in thinking is required to understand why the animal will be healthier and happier on a diet of raw meats and meaty bones.
These menus are meant to be examples of variety and amounts of food that are suitable for various pets. Cats and small dogs obviously do not need as much food as larger dogs, but they do need a variety of sources of proteins and fats in their diet. Larger dogs need larger chunks of food to chew (and not swallow whole).
The Co-op will supply the beef products for your pets' diet, but you should buy chicken and pork at COSTCO or a local grocery store. Fish can also be included in the diet.
If you are unsure about what beef products to order, you can start with one bag of skirt meat or beef heart, one bag of kidneys, and several pounds of meaty neck bones. Please call Sandra at 987-5005 with questions. Advice is always available.
